Landmarks Festival | Gan Yam Brew Co

Taking place at the brewery across three days, there will be live music, DJs, craft stalls, an exhibition, talks and more! Each edition of the festival has a theme and for this one we have chosen “Wild”, we use the theme to work alongside an artist who will exhibit work and provide artwork for a one-off seasonal beer to be launched at the festival. For the second LANDMARKS we are proud to have commissioned Lavinia Haslam whose work is a reaction to social and political issues and pushes the boundaries of traditional art practices
to question and explore identity.

UCLan PR1 Gallery

Being Human | April 2023

Service users and staff from Guild Lodge Forensic Hospital in Whittingham and the new Wesham Rehabilitation Unit have once again come together to collaborate with students from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) for a free art exhibition.

This is the third time the Being Human Exhibition has been held and the first-year counselling and psychotherapy students worked hard to create pieces that represent their individuality and opinions of what it means to be human.

Creative Mental Health Framework (CMHF)

Office for Schools (OfS) | July 2023

A Creative Mental Health research project, focusing on improving the wellbeing of the University of Central Lancashire’s LGBTQ+ student community. Partnering with Tate Liverpool, Growing Resilience, Lancashire MIND, and Lancashire LGBT, UCLan’s Creative Mental Health Framework has produced and delivered peer-to-peer mental health training for 300 LGBT+ students who champion diversity.
